Meghan Markle, Prince Harry set to make up to $1M per speech

Oh, so that’s how they’re going to pay the bills!

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are set to make up to $1 million per speech after hiring a top speaking agency.

Last week Meghan Markle and Prince Harry signed with prestigious speaking agency Harry Walker Agency – whose other high-end clients include Barack and Michelle Obama, Hillary and Bill Clinton, and Oprah Winfrey – which specializes in commanding $1 million fees for their in-demand clients.

The highly sought after couple will hold conversations that will “relate to topics that are important in their lives—and in the world,” a source told Town & Country. “Topics will largely relate to the social issues the world is facing now including racial justice and gender equity, mental health, issues impacting women and girls and the environment—as well as the intersectional nature of these issues. … Many of the areas and topics covered in these conversations will be related to the foundation and mission of Archewell, their new organization housing their philanthropic endeavors.”

The formerly royal Duke and Duchess have been looking for work since they left the Royal Family firm and in addition to speaking engagement are said to be looking into documentary projects while volunteering at places like a gang rehab center.

Meanwhile, Markle may have signaled the nail in the coffin of her friendship with former bestie Jessica Mulroney when she didn’t wish Mulroney’s daughter Ivy, 7, a happy birthday — leaving Mulroney worried that her friendship with the Duchess is “now over for good,” according to the Daily Mail.

Markle had pressed pause on her friendship with Mulroney after Toronto-based black lifestyle influencer Sasha Exeter posted a message on Instagram calling for people with large platforms to use them to promote the Black Lives Matter movement. She later posted a video claiming Mulroney had taken the post as a personal attack on her and had threatened to harm Exeter’s career. Mulroney apologized but was quickly fired from her jobs at “Good Morning America”, “I Do, Redo” and had to step down from the charity she founded with her sisters-in-law.

Her husband, Ben Mulroney, host of the Canadian entertainment show “etalk,” also quit his job after his cohost Elaine Liu, wrote an excoriating blog about the couple, in which she ominously claimed that the Mulroneys were “keeping track” of those who didn’t support Jessica amid the scandal.

Prince Charles knew Meghan Markle was not long for The Firm

Prince Charles was saddened but not shocked when his son Harry and daughter-in-law Meghan Markle ditched the family and headed for America.

While the future king of England likes and admires his daughter-in-law, Nigel Cawthorne, author of the new tome, “Prince Andrew: Epstein and the Palace” told the London Sun, “I think [Prince Charles] likes strong women, but in The Firm there is only room for one Queen.”

“The Firm” is what people inside and out of the Palace call the business side of the British royal family.

“I think he foresaw considerable problems ahead for The Firm,” Cawthorne said. “Harry and Meghan amplified the popularity of the royal family in the way that Prince Andrew and Fergie did at the time. However, for the sake of The Firm he will feel this outcome is better that the monarchy is small in size rather than a constellation of stars in separate orbits.”

Charles, who genuinely likes Meghan and nicknamed her “Tungsten” after the strong metal, “genuinely made an attempt to support what Harry and Meghan were looking for,” Cawthorne said. “In truth, however, there wasn’t a lot he could do apart from offering moral support. He no doubt personally regrets the fact that he won’t see his son and family as much as he otherwise would have. … He likes tradition and order.”

Meghan Markle’s BFF Jessica Mulroney Fired After Racist Comments

Meghan Markle’s best friend Jessica Mulroney has been fired from her TV job after racist comments have emerged.

Keep scrolling to find out more…

It has just been announced that Meghan Markle’s best friend, Jessica Mulroney, has been fired over racist comments.

via: Getty

This comes just a week after the duchess issued a statement about the “Black Lives Matter” movement.

But firstly, let’s recap a few things…

Meghan was known way before she became a member of the British Royal Family.

via: Getty

The thirty-eight-year-old was recognized as an actress, particularly for her recurring role in the TV series Suits.

But this all changed in 2016…

via: Getty

When Meghan started dating Prince Harry, her career as an actress seemed to be instantly swapped for a life fulfilling royal duties.

They married in May, 2018…

via: Getty

Which made Meghan an official part of the Royal Family.

She relocated to London and was given the title, the Duchess of Sussex.

The couple announced their pregnancy shortly after the wedding…

And Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor was born in May of 2019.

Even though the little family seemed to radiate with happiness…

via: Getty

Things were far from the case behind the scenes as Meghan was relentlessly attacked by the British press and public.

Anything she did or said…

via: Getty

The British media had something to say about it.

Whether she was being branded as a diva, a control-freak, a “monarchy ruiner,” and even a bad mother, Meghan received it all.

Even though Meghan bravely put a smile on her face throughout it all…

via: Getty

There’s absolutely no doubt that she was struggling.

Meghan and Harry made the bold decision to step down from royal duties earlier this year.

In a joint statement, the couple said that they wanted “a normal upbringing for their child” and they feel that spending their time between the U.K and America would be much more appropriate for their family environment.

Even though the family is now spending a lot of their time in Los Angeles…

via: Getty

Meghan is still receiving a lot of heat from the British press for “breaking up the royal family.”

It seems that Meghan literally can’t do anything right…

via: Getty

And so many have now realized that this hate is a matter of racism.

Meghan is the first-ever person of color to join the Royal Family…

And no other royal has ever received the volume of hate in which Meghan has – not even Prince Andrew, who was accused of being involved in the Jeffrey Epstein sex trafficking scandal.

Meghan’s life was made a living hell for absolutely no reason…

And this sadly goes to show that racism isn’t just a problem here in America, but it is apparent worldwide.

Things need to change…

via: Getty

And many have been speaking out about their own experiences of racism… including Meghan herself.

Even though Meghan currently doesn’t have social media…

via: Instagram

Footage of her has emerged from 2012 speaking candidly about her own experiences with racism growing up as a woman of color.

She was seen wearing an “I won’t stand for racism” t-shirt…

via: Instagram

And she begins by saying:

“My name’s Meghan Markle and I’m here because I think it’s a really important campaign to be a part of. For me, I think it hits a really personal note. I’m bi-racial, most people can’t tell what I’m mixed with and so much of my life has felt like being a fly on the wall. And so some of the slurs that I’ve heard or the really offensive jokes, or the names, it’s just hit me in a really strong way.”

“I heard someone call my mom the N word.”

via: Instagram

“So I think for me, beyond being personally affected by racism, just to see the landscape of what our country is like right now, and certainly the world, and to want things to be better,” she explained.

Meghan feels she has been treated differently because of her race…

via: Getty

“Quite honestly, your race is part of what defines you. I think what shifts things is that the world really treats you based on how you look. Certain people don’t look at me and see me as a black woman or a biracial woman. They treat me differently, I think, than they would if they knew what I was mixed with, and I think that that is—I don’t know, it can be a struggle as much as it can be a good thing depending on the people that you’re dealing with.”

It’s clear that racism is a huge issue for Meghan…

via: Getty

As it is to millions of people around the world, in particular those of the black community.

But it has just emerged that someone very close to Meghan has been accused of racism.

Jessica Mulroney, a Canadian fashion designer and TV personality, has just been fired from her TV presenting gig after been accused of racism during an argument with a social media influencer.

She clashed with lifestyle blogger Sasha Exeter in the wake of the George Floyd protests…

She has been accused of “sending a threat” to Sasha in an example of “textbook white privilege” after she “took offense” at being asked to speak up about racism.

Sasha was frustrated with Jessica for not using her large platform to raise awareness for “Black Lives Matter.”

Sasha said that Jessica is “very vocal” about other causes and her friend Meghan is “arguably one of the most famous black women in the world.”

Jessica then allegedly retorted by saying, “I have also spoken to companies and people about the way you have treated me unfairly. You think your voice matters. Well, it only matters if you express it with kindness and without shaming people who are simply trying to learn. Good luck.”

Jessica’s response “scared” Sasha and she took it as a threat to her career…

And last night, CTV announced that Mulroney’s reality show I Do, Redo had been removed from all its channels “effective immediately.”

“Recent conduct by one of our shows’ hosts, Jessica Mulroney, conflicts with our commitment to diversity and equality,” a statement said.

Jessica soon apologized to Sasha on Instagram…

via: Instagram

“I did not intend in any way to jeopardize her livelihood. We had a disagreement and it got out of hand. For that I am sorry. The events that have transpired over the last few days have made it clear that I have work to do,” she said.

“I realize more than ever how being a white, privileged woman has put me far ahead of so many, and in particular those in the black community. And while I can’t change the past, I can do my part to do better in the future.”

Jessica’s friend and fellow TV presenter Tracy Moore publically called her out on Instagram…

“Here’s what I know: @JessicaMulroney used her extreme privilege to potentially bury a Black sister. @sashaexeter took a brave step telling her story.
Believe black women,” she wrote.

And of course…

Twitter has been left furious over Jessica’s actions.

It seems Jessica is desperate to regain her good reputation…

Because things certainly aren’t looking good behind the scenes.

People are livid that Jessica had the nerve to apologize publically…

And then proceed to send even more threats behind closed doors.

This truly goes to show Jessica’s true colors…

And people who believe it is okay to behave towards others in this way deserve to be exposed and called out.

It is not okay.

Meghan Markle ‘back to her old self before joining Royals’ says friend | Entertainment Daily

Meghan Markle delivered a powerful speech about Black Lives Matter on Thursday (June 4) – and the impact it made on Meghan herself did not go unnoticed.

An old friend told Vanity Fair she seemed back to her old self.

They were commenting on the way Meghan was before she got married to Prince Harry.

Meghan told friends she was nervous before giving the speech, the magazine reported.

But now a friend  who “works closely with her on her charity work” said the duchess was being “100 per cent” herself.

She explained that Meghan sounded “less restrained”.

The friend added that Meghan seemed more like she was before she joined the royal family.

“Listening to her was like hearing the old Meghan,” the friend said.

“She sounds less restrained and more herself and much more how I remember her from when we first met, way back before she was a member of the royal family.”

Another source added that there had been a lot of discussion about the speech.

Meghan was worried about getting the tone right.

She also feared being criticised for it.

She said: “I wasn’t sure what I could say to you.

“I wanted to say the right thing and I was really nervous that it would get picked apart. And I realised the only wrong thing to say is to say nothing.”

Meghan Markle Implores Alma Mater Grads to Fight Racism After George Floyd’s Death

Meghan delivered her speech, virtually, to the graduating class of 2020 at Immaculate Heart High School in Los Angeles, and said she was nervous about how she would address the tragic killing of Floyd. But, ultimately, “I realized, the only wrong thing to say is to say nothing. Because George Floyd’s life mattered, and Breonna Taylor’s life mattered, and Philando Castile’s life mattered.”

Meghan Markle breaks silence on George Floyd death in heartfelt message to old school – Dianalegacy Latest Update News Images Videos of British Royal Family

MEGHAN MARKLE broke her silence over the death of George Floyd in a video addressed to students of her old school.

Meghan Markle said “George Floyd’s life mattered” in a new video in which she discussed the issue of racism in America. In a heartfelt speech addressed to students from her former school, Immaculate Heart High in Los Angeles, the Duchess of Sussex branded the chaos as “devastating” as she urged people to speak up about their experience. Meghan said: “The only wrong thing to say is to say nothing. Because George Floyd’s life mattered, and Breonna Taylor’s life mattered and Philando Castile’s life mattered, and Tamir Rice’s life mattered.

“And so did so many other people whose names we know and whose names we do not know. Stephon Clark, his life mattered.

“And I was thinking about this moment, when I was a sophomore in high school, I was 15 and sophomore year is the year we do volunteer work, which is a pre-requisite for graduating.

“I remember one of my teachers said to me before I was leaving before a day of volunteering, ‘Always remember to put other’s needs above your own fears.’”

The Duchess admitted to feeling nervous at the beginning of the speech and she later apologised to pupils about having to live in a world “where this is still present.”

She continued: “I am sorry that we have not got the world to a place that you deserve it to be.

“I’m sorry. I’m so sorry that you have to grow up in a world where this is still present.

“That’s something you should have an understanding of, but an understanding of as a history lesson, not as your reality.”

She added: “So I am sorry that we have not got the world to a place that you deserve it to be.”

Meghan Markle also recounted her experience during the 1992 LA riots (Image: BBC)

The Duchess of Sussex also recounted her first experience with widespread violence as she discussed her memories of the 1992 Los Angeles riots.

Similarly to the ongoing protests, the LA riots had been “triggered by a senseless act of racism”, Meghan said.

The Duchess said she remembered seeing the billowing smoke rising from burning buildings and men holding rifles as they travelled around in the back of a van.

She said: “Those memories don’t go away.”

Meghan Markle’s ‘experience as a B-List actress wasn’t going to prepare her’, royal expert claims | Daily Mail Online

Meghan Markle’s experience as ‘a B-list actress wasn’t going to prepare her for the global spotlight that comes with being part of the Firm’, royal commentator claims

Meghan Markle’s experience as a ‘B-list actress’ on Suits wasn’t going to prepare her for the global spotlight that comes with being part of the Firm, a royal expert has claimed.

Despite the Duchess of Sussex, 38, having a successful career acting in US legal drama Suits, royal commentator Katie Nicholl tells 9Honey that her fame wouldn’t have helped her navigate her new royal life.

Katie said: ‘I think what she encountered was almost impossible to prepare for and certainly her experience as a B-List actress wasn’t going to stand her in [good] stead.’

Meghan is currently living in Los Angeles with her husband Prince Harry, 35, and their one-year-old son Archie Mountbatten-Windsor.

Despite the Duchess of Sussex, 38, having a successful career acting in US legal drama Suits (pictured), royal commentator Katie Nicholl says that her fame wouldn’t have helped her navigate her new royal life

When Prince Harry and Meghan first announced their engagement in November 2017, many commentators expected the American-born actress would handle the royal family’s spotlight easily.

But as the mother-of-one admitted in the couple’s tour documentary Harry & Meghan: An African Journey, she never anticipated the scale of the press scrutiny.

‘As an actress, she was used to being photographed but she’s said herself there was this suggestion that she would be able to handle the press attention and find her way in the spotlight because of her previous experience’, Katie said.

‘Whereas actually, I think what she encountered was almost impossible to prepare for and certainly her experience as a B-list actress wasn’t going to stand her in [good] stead for suddenly becoming the most famous woman in the world.

‘It became very apparent from that documentary in Africa, that perhaps while she made it look easy, it obviously wasn’t easy.’

During the ITV documentary the Duchess of Sussex told presenter Tom Bradby of her desire to ‘thrive’ in life.

When discussing the challenges of royal life, she said: ‘I’ve said for a long time to H—that’s what I call him—it’s not enough to just survive something, right? That’s not the point of life. You’ve got to thrive, you’ve got to feel happy.’

Harry and Meghan have been living in an Beverly Hills £14.5 million villa that belongs to Hollywood actor Tyler Perry since March.

Fifty-year-old Perry’s eight-bedroom, 12-bathroom Tuscan-style villa sits on 22 acres on the top of a hill in the ultra-exclusive Beverly Ridge Estates guard-gated community, offering sweeping views of the city.

Prince Harry Married Meghan Markle “Because She’s Like Diana”

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle stepped back from their senior royal duties at the beginning of the year because they want to be independent, but it really goes deeper than that. Months before Meghan and Harry stepped back, Harry penned a letter to Daily Mail and Mail on Sunday‘s publishers, saying that he wanted the bullying of Meghan to stop because he didn’t want her to end up like his mom, Princess Diana. But now, we’re learning the similarities between Meghan and Diana go beyond extreme scrutiny by the British press.

According to Diana’s former butler, Paul Burrell, Harry might have fallen for Meghan in the first place because her personality is similar to Diana’s. “Harry went for and married Meghan because she’s like Diana,” he reportedly said in an interview with Closer magazine. “Both women who would always stand up for what they believe in and wouldn’t be pushovers.”

Still, Paul doesn’t think that means they’d be besties. “I think, possibly, they would have clashed,” he continued. “I imagine it would have been two strong, independent women with different views on things—it would have been a battle between Meghan’s way and Diana’s way.”

WPA PoolGetty Images

Perhaps one of the major differences between Meghan and Diana is that Meghan had a better grasp on the media going into a royal marriage compared to Diana, Paul theorized, possibly because Meghan was in the spotlight already.

“I think the main difference between them is that Meghan has a game plan, whereas Diana was young and naïve,” Paul added. “Diana did the book with Andrew Morton and courted the press over the years because she didn’t have a voice. And her strong-mindedness meant she cared and she felt the people of the country had a right to know what had gone on behind closed doors.”

Guess the only logical thing to do now is analyze Meghan and Diana’s similarities through all the times Meghan mirrored Diana’s style. You know, for research purposes.

She says the book will be called Meghan and Harry: The Real Story.

Her two sons, Dimitri and Michael, have reportedly helped her with research.

Scheduled for an August release, an excerpt from the book promises: “With unique access and written with the participation of those closest to the couple, Finding Freedom is an honest, up-close, and disarming portrait of a confident, influential, and forward-thinking couple

“who are unafraid to break with tradition, determined to create a new path away from the spotlight, and dedicated to building a humanitarian legacy that will make a profound difference in the world.”

“Long time in the making”

British journalist Omid opened up about his upcoming debut on The Heir podcast.

He said: “It’s been a long time in the making. The last few weeks have been quite a challenge getting it all ready in time for the deadline.

“It feels nice to finally be able to talk about it after quietly beavering away on it for a long time.”

However, he says that Harry and Meghan likely didn’t expect things to end up the way they have.

He continued: “This project started about two years ago, and there have been twists and turns that no one expected. This is something no one expected.

“I don’t even think Harry and Meghan, who by their own account struggled with the realities of the situation, expected things to turn out the way they did.”

Meghan Markle will be treated to ‘breakfast in bed’ on Mother’s Day in LA, royal expert claims | Daily Mail Online

Meghan Markle will be treated to breakfast in bed by son Archie and husband Prince Harry to mark Mother’s Day in the US, a royal expert claims.

While the annual celebration of mothers is marked in March in the UK, America’s holiday is held in May.

Last year Meghan had only given birth to son Archie Mountbatten-Windsor – who turned one on Wednesday – a week previously.

Having since moved to California after quitting as senior members of the Royal Family, this Mother’s Day the Sussexes are likely to celebrate at their ultra-luxury Beverly Hills hideout that belongs to Hollywood tycoon Tyler Perry.

Grant Harrold, aka The Royal Butler, told FEMAIL: ‘I am sure Little Archie, with his father’s help, will make sure Meghan is spoiled the same way all other mothers across the USA are hopefully spoiled on this special occasion, which may even include breakfast in bed.

‘But Archie may need some help from his father to accomplish this little task!’

Due to social distancing, the Duchess of Sussex, 38, will be unable to spend the day with her own mother Doria Ragland, whom she hasn’t seen since her recent move to the US.

The Sussex family are in lockdown after California governor Gavin Newsom issued a ‘stay-at-home’ order in the state.

However, Grant insisted the pair will enjoy catching up over a video call to mark the special holiday.

‘As we have seen Meghan is very close to her mother, but due to social distancing the Sussex family will unlikely see her in person,’ he said.

‘But, most likely as with all other families, they will turn to Skype, Zoom, or FaceTime video call.’

Perry’s home is where Meghan and Harry celebrated Archie’s first birthday on Wednesday, having a ‘smash cake’ and Zoom chats with friends and family, a source told People magazine.

The couple filmed a sweet video of the former Suits actress reading Duck! Rabbit! to Archie, filmed last week and shared to the Save the Children Instagram account – part of a celebrity-backed fundraising campaign launched in the US by Hollywood star Jennifer Garner, who is friends with Meghan.

The clip was met with great excitement from royal fans, who noted how much Archie looked like Harry, 35, at the same age.

Oprah, 66, is believed to have gifted little Archie a huge collection of children’s books, including the story the Duchess read in the video.

Meanwhile, it’s been revealed a biography about the couple is set to be released worldwide online on August 11, with the hard copy on sale from August 20.

The book has the full title Finding Freedom: Harry And Meghan And The Making of A Modern Royal Family, and will be published by Dey Street Books.

The publisher reportedly had briefings with people close to the couple and publication is likely to be serialised ahead of a full release.

Today Prince Harry shared a video from his LA home to mark the opening ceremony of the Invictus Games, which has been cancelled due to coronavirus, in which he said life has ‘changed dramatically’.

Meghan Markle bashed on Archie’s first birthday by author: ‘Go Away’ – TheGrio

Meghan Markle celebrating her son Archie’s first birthday sent one author into a full-blown Karen meltdown.

A post shared by Save The Children UK (@savechildrenuk) on

Maryland native Emily Giffin, the bestselling author of “Something Borrowed” and a self-described royal watcher, took offense to the almost 3-minute video. She lashed out at Markle over her parenting, Harry’s lack of screen time and even what Archie wore.

“Happy birthday, Archie. Go away, Megan,” Giffin introduced the clip on her Instagram stories.

The 48-year-old novelist continued to misspell Markle’s name as “Megan” and went on to write, “Holy ‘me first.’ This is the Megan show. Why didn’t she film and let Harry read? And why didn’t she take the moment at the end to say ‘he said daddy!’ Because that would make it about Harry for a split second, God forbid.”

The author was also outraged that Markle and her husband have chosen to raise their child out of the spotlight. Giffin believed that sharing the video for charity that featured Archie made Markle a hypocrite.

“Also, you want privacy for your child so you put out a video (by your authorized biographer) of him …. wearing no pants?! Ooookay ….” she added.

Giffin also shared a text message in which she bashed Markle’s parenting skills and labeled the former Hollywood actress a “phony” who wasn’t up to mothering. However, she called the other royals who wished Archie Happy Birthday on social media “class acts.”

@emilygiffin is a nasty person & part of the problem. Whoever Laura Dave is she’s one of the people that blame Meghan & must think Harry is a pushover. Awful people these women are. pic.twitter.com/PUjCtWSpx1

— G Bracke (@gbracke) January 9, 2020

Giffin has previously spewed venom at Markle. When Markle gave birth last year, Giffin made up her mind that the family of three were non-factors. She believes only Prince William and Kate Middleton’s three kids, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis, who is first in the line of succession before Harry’s son, are the only important young royals.

“That’s the future,” she told The Columbus Dispatch. “They’ll be in the history books. Hundreds of years from now, Harry and Meghan will be a footnote.”

She also delighted in telling her Instagram followers last year that Queen Elizabeth was the only reason why Markle had relevance.

“FACT to keep in mind this week: The only reason the world cares about Meghan Markle’s pregnancy is because of this woman. God save the Queen,” she posted to Instagram.

Giffin’s anger also spilled onto Archie’s name. She posted a video raging that Archie Harrison did not have any royal significance.

Look at the videos she put up on her IG stories obsessing and hating on Archie’s name! She’s an evil woman who follows Meghan hate pages and laughs with Meghan bullies. She can’t even sleep without thinking about Archie’s name! pic.twitter.com/xoG2nCtx8e

Giffin has since set her social media accounts to private but commented on her ‘Karen’ outburst.

Lorraine added: “Obviously we don’t with them any ill will. I hope they will be happy, it just seems really sad.”

The couple got off lightly with Lorraine compared to her fellow GMB presenter Piers Morgan.

He was scathing about their decision to announce a “zero engagement policy” with tabloid newspapers this week.

Meanwhile, Piers branded Harry and Meghan “repulsive, deluded narcissistic tools” on Twitter.

He said they shouldn’t have made the announcement in the middle of a global pandemic.

Harry and Meghan reportedly had leaked details of their video call to the Queen to media outlets which they favoured.

However, other Royals have played a key role in comforting the public as the coronavirus pandemic.

Prince Philip, 98, released a rare statement yesterday to praise all the workers fighting on the frontline.

Meanwhile, the Queen gave an inspirational speech earlier this month, urging people to stay at home.

In addition, she reminded the population that “we will meet again,” in an echo of wartime solidarity.

Meghan Markle Appears On Good Morning America To Speak About Narrating Disneynature’s Elephant Documentary

Meghan Markle Appears On Good Morning America To Speak About Narrating Disneynature’s Elephant Documentary

Meghan Markle made her very first official TV appearance since she and her husband officially stepped back as Senior Royals in a segment for Good Morning America.

The segment, which aired earlier today, featured clips of Markle in a pre-recorded interview from 2019 in which she discusses the Disney biopic. Elephant, which she narrated.

Markle explained why the biopic is one close to her heart.

“I’m really grateful to have the opportunity to be a part of bringing this story of elephants to life,” she said.

“I’ve been very lucky to be able to have hands-on experience with elephants in their natural habitat. When you spend time connecting with them and other wildlife, you really understand we have a role to play in their preservation and their safety.”

She continued by calling the animals “majestic” and “sensitive” and spoke about their incredible memory. She also touched on how they are very close to their herd and family – something that might just make them more similar to humans than we think.

“I hope that when people see this film, they realise how connected we all are and if we had more of awareness about the obstacles we’re facing, I think we’d take care of each other, this planet and animals, in a very different way,” Markle added.

Earlier in 2020, it was revealed that Meghan Markle had narrated a biopic film for Disney, which was released in early April. According to Hello, the former-Royal agreed to narrate the film in exchange for a donation to the charity Elephants Without Borders.

The recording was completed in Fall last year after she was approached by filmmakers Mark and Vanessa Berlowitz to be part of the project. Markle had reportedly been aware of the documentary for years and was thus thought to be a perfect fit for the role.

Markle and her husband, Prince Harry, along with their son, Archie have been living in Los Angeles as of recent. The couple has been helping where they can amid the Coronavirus pandemic by volunteering with Project Angel Food, a non-profit organization, as they deliver food to the less fortunate in West Hollywood.

Last week, Markle also caught up with her pals at Hubb Kitchen in London, a project she has been part of since their cookbook launch in 2017 via video chat.

Paparazzi got a rare glimpse of Meghan Markle and Prince Harry out in their new home city of Los Angeles on Friday. The couple was photographed out in masks while delivering meals in the California city for Project Angel Food. The two were dressed casually and showed a little PDA, holding hands. Meghan and Harry have never been shy about being affectionate, even during the royal engagements they did before they stepped back from their senior royal family roles at the beginning of this month.

Meghan wore a black three-quarter sleeved top with khaki pants and a white mask. Harry, meanwhile, wore a blue bandana as a face covering with a gray polo and dark jeans.

The couple’s involvement with Project Angel Food, which delivers meals to people living with critical illnesses including HIV/AIDs, cancer, kidney failure, diabetes and congestive heart disease, was first reported last week by local publication WEHOville.

Project Angel Food Director Richard Ayoub told the publication that Meghan and Harry “wanted to help us relieve some of the drivers from their workload. So they made deliveries in West Hollywood today. It’s really, really amazing. We loved having them and they are the most down-to-earth people.”

He later told The Huffington Post that Meghan’s mother, Doria Ragland, who also lives in LA, suggested they get involved with the organization. They toured the organization’s facilities, Ayoub said: “They were just genuinely compassionate, interested individuals who came to visit the kitchens. [They were] extremely engaged with every single person they met.”

‘Good Morning America’ Gets First Meghan Markle Interview Since Megxit – Deadline

Meghan Markle will talk with Good Morning America on Monday, marking her first television interview since she and Prince Harry split from the royal family. The subject? Elephant, the Disney documentary film that she narrated.

Markle and Harry have been seen recently delivering food to Los Angeles shut-ins for the Project Angel Food charity. The couple recently relocated to Los Angeles and reportedly are living in Malibu while searching for a permanent home and establishing their new business endeavors.

The ABC morning show is promoting Markle as a special guest for Monday’s show, as a voiceover says she’ll offer “an exclusive first look” at the documentary. Hard-hitting questions on their Megxit decision and President Trump’s recent vow not to provide taxpayer paid security are likely off the table.

The documentary is a Disney+ streaming film that follows an elephant herd on a journey through Zimbabwe and Botswana.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle Spotted Wearing Masks in L.A.

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry recently moved to Los Angeles, where they’ve been social distancing in their new home with their son, Archie. But the royal couple were recently spotted volunteering amid the coronavirus crisis, dressed down in jeans and masks.

TMZ posted a video of Harry and Meghan’s first sighting in Los Angeles, where they can be seen arriving at several housing complexes to deliver food. The pair were reportedly working on behalf of Project Angel Food, an L.A.-based nonprofit that both prepares and delivers food to people who have chronic illnesses. According to TMZ, Meghan and Harry dropped off food at a “low-income housing unit for disabled and special needs residents, and [they] made a few stops inside the building.”

Great to see these two lend a helping hand during such a hard time for so many vulnerable people. Oh, and reminder: The Duke and Duchess are gearing up to launch their new foundation Archewell, a charitable nonprofit with volunteering services and a “wide-ranging website.”

In a statement, Meghan and Harry said “Before SussexRoyal came the idea of ‘arche’—the Greek word meaning ‘source of action.’ We connected to this concept for the charitable organization we hoped to build one day, and it became the inspiration for our son’s name. To do something of meaning, to do something that matters. Archewell is a name that combines an ancient word for strength and action, and another that evokes the deep resources we each must draw upon.”

Meghan Markle Apparently Hasn’t Seen Her Mother Once Since Moving to Los Angeles | InStyle.com

We’re all feeling a little emotionally exhausted by efforts to remain isolated in our homes to quell the spread of coronavirus. Even Meghan Markle has reportedly been feeling blue while practicing social distancing.

According to a new report in The Sun, Meghan has been “absolutely heartbroken” as of late because she hasn’t seen her mother Doria Ragland once ever since making the move with Prince Harry and son Archie to Los Angeles. It’s been just over a week since the family left their Canadian abode to make the permanent move to Los Angeles.

Despite living about “ten miles away” from each other, mother and daughter have yet to spend any time together due to Meghan and Harry’s self-isolation during the novel coronavirus pandemic.

“Meghan is absolutely heartbroken—after all, one of the main reasons she decided to live in LA was to be near her mum,” according to The Sun’s source. “Because of her age, Doria obviously has to be careful and Meghan and Harry are sticking rigidly to all formal guidelines when it comes to coronavirus. They’ve been WhatsApping and FaceTiming almost daily but obviously it’s not the same.”

The decision to make the move to Los Angeles in the first place was reportedly made because the family had realized that Canada simply wouldn’t work out for them for a litany of reasons. Given that they had a support system already in place in Los Angeles, and that Ragland already lived there, the decision was made to set up based in the City of Angels instead.

It can be difficult during these times to stay positive for all of us when spending time with family is out of the question, of course. It looks like Meghan and family aren’t taking any chances when it comes to keeping Meghan’s mother’s well-being in mind, even if it is a bit painful for everyone involved. Currently, staying home and participating in social distancing appears to be the best way for everyone to combat the coronavirus – and if the royals are taking part, it’s probably a good idea for you to do it, too.

How Prince Harry and Meghan Markle could live out Diana’s California dream | Daily Mail Online

Prince Harry could live out his mother’s dream of moving to Malibu if he and Meghan Markle decide to settle in the affluent California neighbourhood.

Harry, 35, and Meghan, 38, who officially stepped down as senior working royals yesterday, are said to have viewed a $20million mansion in the star-studded area as they look to set up a permanent home in the US following Megxit.

The property, which boasts a pool and tennis court, is close to a Tuscan-style villa that Dodi Fayed bought before his death in 1997.

Former royal butler Paul Burrell has previously claimed that Princess Diana was planning on moving to the sprawling Malibu home to escape the scrutiny of the British press before she died.

Harry and Meghan, pictured last year, are said to have viewed a $20million mansion in Malibu – the California neighbourhood where Princess Diana had reportedly been planning to move with Dodi Fayed before her death in 1997. Harry and Meghan stepped down as royals yesterday

‘She said, “This is our new life, just won’t it be great, think of the lifestyle the boys — nobody’s judgmental here in America, you don’t have the class system, you don’t have the establishment”,’ he recalled in a 2007 interview with ABC news.

It was reported last week that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle had left the $10million bolthole on Vancouver Island, Canada, where they had been living since quitting the UK in January to relocate to the US before travel restrictions between the two countries were put in place.

The Sussexes want to be close to ‘their new team of Hollywood agents and PRs’ as well as Meghan’s friends and mother Doria, a source told The Sun. They are now believed to be in lockdown in the Hollywood area with ten-month-old baby Archie.

While it is not known where the couple will eventually choose to settle, Malibu would certainly be a logical choice; it has one of the most expensive ZIP codes in the country and boasts a stunning coastline, should Harry and Meghan have got used to being by the water in Canada.

Last Month sources claimed Prince Harry and Meghan Markle plan to rent this sprawling $20million Malibu mansion to get a feel for SoCal life post Megxit

While it’s more than 50km from central LA, it’s a quiet, secluded place ideal for nature-loving celebrities looking for privacy.

Its residents include the likes of Cindy Crawford, Courteney Cox, Leonardo DiCaprio, Steven Spielberg and Patrick Dempsey.

Last Month sources claimed Harry and Meghan plan to rent a sprawling $20million Malibu mansion to get a feel for SoCal life post Megxit.

The huge eight bedroom, 10 bathroom property, called Petra Manor, costs a hefty $15,950 a night, but sources told DailyMailTV the couple is keen to sample Malibu before laying down any long term roots.

The recently renovated Italian style mansion sits in a secure gated community and boasts a swimming pool and cabana, jacuzzi and perfectly manicured grounds

Stay Awhile Villas owner Stuart Heller wouldn’t confirm the couple had chosen the manor, but did say: ‘Stay Awhile Villas is often contacted by high profile families seeking to test neighborhoods throughout Los Angeles before making any move permanent.

‘This is the perfect property for anyone wanting to move to the area and Harry and Meghan will want to see if Malibu suits their lifestyle.

‘The house is a short term rental, many people come to Malibu looking for a home and they will rent somewhere first to see if it makes sense for them and their family.’

The house in question would be just 30 miles away from her Meghan’s Doria, 63, in the Windsor Hills. Malibu also offers the couple easy access to Hollywood as they field offers from film and television powerhouses such as Netflix and Disney.

Have Prince Harry and Meghan Markle hired Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie’s former bodyguard? | Daily Mail Online

Harry and Meghan are reportedly hiring former SAS soldiers to replace their Scotland Yard bodyguards.

They apparently chose from a shortlist of two firms whose staff have guarded stars including Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, Nicole Kidman, Madonna and the Ecclestone family.

From tomorrow, the Sussexes will no longer be working members of the Royal Family as they pursue new lives and careers in US with their ten-month-old son Archie.

As the Daily Mail revealed this week, they have agreed to meet the bill for their own security in America. Harry and Meghan had found themselves at the centre of a row over the cost to British taxpayers of providing them with round-the-clock protection by the Metropolitan Police during their new life in California.

The row deepened after President Donald Trump said Americans should not be asked to contribute. The couple have decided to hire a private security team charging around £400 a day per guard, the Sun reported yesterday.

Experts say their annual bill could be up to £4million as they will require the use of several bodyguards a day. While a spokesman for the couple insisted they would meet the bill personally, Prince Charles may also contribute.

He has agreed to make a substantial contribution towards his son and daughter-in-law’s living costs for the next 12 months while they ‘get on their feet’.

Sources have warned that the money, which will come from his personal funds and not the Duchy of Cornwall, is not ‘inexhaustible’ and will be reviewed in a year.

Meanwhile the Royal Family are determined to put the Megxit saga behind them, the Daily Mail can reveal. While there is still sadness – and hurt – over Harry and Meghan’s decision to step down as working royals and live abroad, the Queen, Prince Charles, Prince William and other senior figures believe there is no more they can do to bridge the divide.

‘Harry and Meghan have made their decision and it is clear they have moved on, which is what everyone else is now trying to do,’ well-placed sources said. ‘There is a lot of work to do, especially given the health crisis currently faced by this country.’

From tomorrow, the Sussexes will no longer be working members of the Royal Family. Signing off their Sussex Royal social media feed, Harry and Meghan told their 11million followers: ‘Thank you to this community for the support, the inspiration and the shared commitment to the good in the world’

Are Cash-Strapped Meghan Markle & Prince Harry Nearing a ‘Breaking Point’?

Meghan Markle’s Hollywood dreams could be fading fast. New reports suggest that she and Prince Harry are rapidly running out of money. And the strain on their finances is reportedly straining their relationship.

Meghan Markle’ Orders’ Prince Harry to Save Them Both

According to UK news outlet Express, a “royal insider” claimed things are getting testy between the former royals. Express says Meghan has “ordered” Prince Harry to get a job. The insider explains:

Meghan is terrified that her dreams of being a Hollywood queen will be destroyed by this financial nightmare and she is insisting that Harry make a move and resolve the crisis.

That sounds like a job for a prince. Unfortunately, Harry is no longer an actual prince. The insider continues:

The big problem is that Harry has no marketable skills, has never had a real job…

He does not have a university degree nor does he know a second language. He only has military training.

Prince Harry has to be feeling a bit neutered. After all, this isn’t the first time Meghan has bossed him around.

What Did You Expect When You Left the Royal Family?

What, exactly, is the “crisis” that Meghan Markle wants him to solve? It seems to be the one she caused when she convinced his man to leave his royal family. Surely, there would be no money issues if these two still lived in the UK.

But since she convinced Prince Harry to leave, he’s now closer to just an average person. He doesn’t have the power he had when she married him. Donald Trump made that abundantly clear when he triumphantly denied the couple access to American-funded protection.

It’s like she fell in love with Superman and then immediately dressed him in kryptonite. He’s powerless now. Sure, he might be able to create something out of thin air based on his name alone, but it’s going to be much harder in this new economy.

Meghan Markle & Harry’s Relationship Is Starting to Get Rocky

The insider described their newly forming relationship issues:

Harry has given up on real life for his rebellious American wife, but his sacrifice is exploding in his face.

Their marriage is tense, they could be at a breaking point.

This comes after news that Harry ‘snapped’ when he decided to move to Canada with Meghan. He’s had mixed feelings about being stuck in a house with her. And now, they’ve already moved to LA.

Meghan Markle is risking a lot to get her time in the spotlight. Her relationship is apparently on the rocks. Her man left his family. Maybe this global pandemic slows down, and they get back on track. But it seems like she’ll stop at nothing until she becomes relevant in Hollywood. Hopefully, it’s worth it.

President Trump Says Prince Harry, Meghan Markle Must Pay for Security – Variety

President Trump Says Prince Harry and Meghan Markle Must Pay for Own Security

After moving to the U.S. and leaving the royal family behind, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle must now pay for their own security team, according to President Trump.

Before recently relocating to the U.S., the couple had been living in Canada under the watch and protection of British security and the Royal Canadian Mounted Police. The price of their security team was estimated to cost millions of dollars per year, but who is footing the bill in America is still up in the air.

However, Trump made it clear on Sunday that the U.S. will not provide any federal protection and the former Duke and Duchess of Sussex must pay on their own.

“I am a great friend and admirer of the Queen & the United Kingdom. It was reported that Harry and Meghan, who left the Kingdom, would reside permanently in Canada. Now they have left Canada for the U.S., however, the U.S. will not pay for their security protection. They must pay!” he tweeted.

Many people expect Markle, a former actor most known for her role on “Suits,” to return to her Hollywood roots. She’s already booked a narrating role for the Disneynature documentary “Elephant,” set to debut on Disney Plus on April 3. The project marks her first role since officially stepping away from the royal family duties.

Report: Meghan Markle And Prince Harry Leave Canada And Move To LA | The Daily Caller

Katie Jerkovich Entertainment Reporter

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have reportedly left their home on Vancouver Island in Canada and moved to Los Angeles.

Reports about the soon-to-be former royals fleeing Canada for the United States before the northern borders close due to the coronavirus started surfacing on Thursday. By Friday, People magazine said a source confirmed to them that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have indeed moved to southern California. (RELATED: Report: Meghan Markle And Kate Middleton’s Alleged Feud Really Between Prince Harry And Prince William)

The source told the magazine that the royals have been living in a secluded compound and reportedly haven’t ventured out during the pandemic. (RELATED: Report: Meghan Markle And Prince Harry Plan To Have At Least One More Child)

The former “Suits” actress and her husband had reportedly been making plans to spend some time in LA, a source previously shared with the magazine.

“Harry is looking straight ahead at his future with his family,” another source shared. “They will be spending time in California…He’s not looking back.”

It all comes after the duke and duchess announced back in January their plans to step away from their senior royal duties and live “financially independent.”

In February, a friend shared with the outlet that now the life of the royals consists of things like hikes in the woods near their $14 million Vancouver Island mansion off the Pacific Coast where they wer raising their nine-month-old son, Archie.

“They both love to be outside and have been loving it there,” explained a friend, adding that the couple is enjoying doing simple things like yoga and walks with their family dogs.

“They are enjoying living a quiet life,” an insider shared with the outlet. “They go for long walks, they do yoga, and Meghan cooks. They are real homebodies who love to chill out with Archie and the dogs.”

It all comes after Queen Elizabeth II issued a statement in January releasing Harry and Meghan of their duties, stating that they are “no longer working members of the Royal Family.” The end of their senior roles becomes official March 31.

Meghan Markle’s first post royal exit job revealed as she voices a Disney documentary on elephants | Daily Mail Online

The Duchess of Sussex‘s first gig after quitting the royal family has been revealed – with Meghan voicing a Disney documentary on elephants.

Her collaboration with the popular film making company is set to benefit the Elephants Without Borders charity – an organisation dedicated to conserving wildlife and helps protect the animals from poaching.

Meghan agreed to do the voiceover after a direct request from filmmakers, and it is understood that she recorded it in London this autumn after seeing footage of the documentary.

A trailer for Elephant failed to give fans a glimpse of Meghan’s narration – but it did reveal that the story follows a ‘family’s extraordinary 1,000 mile journey across Africa on an adventure that will change their lives’.

It comes after the Duke of Sussex, 35, was filmed touting his wife’s voiceover skills to Disney boss Bob Iger at the UK premier of Lion King in July.

The royal couple are currently in Canada with their 10-month-old son Archie and are self-isolating in their Vancouver Island waterfront mansion.

The Disneynature documentary will start streaming on April 3 on Disney+, three days after she and Harry quit as senior royals, the company revealed today.

It sees African elephant Shani and her spirited son Jomo as they are led by their great matriarch, Gaia, across the Kalahari Desert.

They will face dwindling resources and vicious predators as they try to follow their ancestor’s footsteps to a green paradise.

Last year, the Duchess joked that she and Harry attended the premiere of The Lion King in London, to ‘pitch’ for work, footage from the event revealed.

Make like Meghan in a little black dress by Jason Wu

The Lion King European premiere had quite a turnout, with Beyonce, Elton John and the Duke and Duchess of Sussex all making an appearance.

Meghan made a statement in a black fit and flare dress by Jason Wu for the A-list occasion. Sitting just below the knee, the glamorous black gown is designed with a sheer neckline and sleeves and a full skirt. We love the silk-satin finish, and how she completed the look with Nikos Koulis earrings, a pair of Aquazurra pumps and a Gucci clutch bag.

Sadly this dress has now sold out, but you can buy the jacquard-textured version at Farfetch now (click right), or recreate the look with one of the dresses lined up below.

The Duke was also filmed touting his wife’s voiceover skills to Disney boss Bob Iger at the occasion in July.

In the shocking video, Prince Harry pointed to his wife and said: ‘You do know she does voiceovers?’ A surprised Mr Iger replies: ‘I did not know that’, before Harry continues: ‘You seem surprised, she’s really interested’.

The Disney boss says: ‘We’d love to try. That’s a great idea,’ while Meghan, who was next to Prince Harry, continues speaking to Beyonce.

Meghan gave up a successful career as an actress – with her most prominent role being is US legal drama Suits – when becoming engaged to Prince Harry in 2017.

But the arrangement with Disney hints at Meghan’s future career plans, which could see the couple use their celebrity status to benefit chosen causes.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex will officially end their roles as senior royals on March 31 as they ‘work to become financially independent’.

Last month, it was revealed that Meghan could make $100 million this year if she accepts all the offers that come her way, media executive Simon Huck has claimed.

Speaking to The Morning Toast Simon, 36, from Canada, owner of the public relations firm Command Entertainment Group, claims his agency was ‘flooded’ with ‘huge’ offers of work for the former actress in the wake of Megxit.

Simon, who is a close friend of Kim Kardashian, is not believed to be representing Meghan, but has been inundated regardless.

Meanwhile, bosses of The Simpsons have revealed they want the duchess to appear in their popular comedy.

The programme’s showrunner and executive producer Al Jean discussed the prospect of the cameo in an interview with the Radio Times, and said Meghan should ‘give him a call’ about the idea.

He revealed: ‘We’ve talked about Harry and Meghan. I hear she wants to do voiceover work. So if they’re reading this, give us a call.’

After visiting the UK for their final engagements this month, Prince Harry and Meghan returned to Canada, where they are currently living with their son, 10-month-old Archie.

The royal couple are holed up at their Vancouver Island waterfront mansion amid the coronavirus pandemic.

Meanwhile, Prince Harry has taken a keen interest in African conservation projects over the years and in 2017 he became the president of African Parks.

In May 2019, the royal couple were given a rare honour by Disney – a beautiful watercolour Winnie-the-Pooh animation to celebrate the birth of the new royal baby.

Meghan Markle’s estranged brother urges her to ‘get off her high horse’ and let her dad meet Archie | Daily Mail Online

Meghan Markle‘s estranged brother Tom has urged the duchess to ‘get off her high horse’ and grant her father Thomas his ‘dying wish’ of meeting his grandson Archie.

Thomas Markle Jr, 54, spoke out to encourage the former actress, 38, to call her dad – claiming the 75-year-old is ‘frustrated’ by his inability to reach his daughter and ‘only has a few good years left’.

He went on to predict that ‘divorce is on the cards’ for Meghan and Prince Harry – claiming his estranged sister will end up back Hollywood ‘one way or the other’.

In another cutting remark, he said Meghan was just ‘a character in a series’ and ‘not an A-list actress’.

Thomas Markle Jr told the Express: ‘Meghan should actually just seriously get off her high horse, call her father, make amends.’

Thomas Markle Jr, 54, (pictured) said their father is getting ‘frustrated’ by his inability to reach his daughter and fears he’ll ‘blow off’ the rest of his life if he’s never able to contact her again

After apologising for the part he played in the recent turmoil that tore his family apart, he went on to insist that Meghan needs to contact her ‘bewildered’ father.

‘My dad’s dying wish, he tells me on the phone, is just so he can just make amends and see Archie. And have his daughter back in his life – I mean, we owe him that,’ he said.

‘He is so frustrated because he can’t get a message to her. He is still bewildered, he is still lost, he is getting frustrated now to where he is just going to enjoy the rest of his life and he is just going to blow it off.’

Tom Markle Jr has predicted that Meghan will return to acting, after she left her role in TV legal drama Suits ahead of her marriage to Prince Harry, 35. She is pictured as Rachel Zane in the series

While not much about their new life in North America has been confirmed, Tom has predicted that Meghan will definitely make a return to acting, after she left her role in the TV legal drama Suits ahead of her marriage to Prince Harry, 35.

Thomas Jr added that working on Suits ‘changed’ Meghan and ‘went to her head’.

He also called their decision to give up being part of the Royal Family ‘mind-boggling’ and predicted the couple will suffer under the strain of Meghan’s desire to be ‘in the limelight’.

Thomas Jr added that he hopes they are ‘madly in love’ but claimed Harry has ‘changed quite a bit’ and they are both drastically changing their lives to ‘suit her’.

‘She walks in front of Harry. God forbid this ever happened, we really don’t want to see Harry wallowing in the corner of a room with a bottle of gin,’ he said.

Thomas Markle’s relationship with Meghan broke down ahead of her wedding to Harry in May 2018, when it emerged he had posed for a paparazzi photographer.

In an extraordinary Channel 5 film released last month, Meghan’s father revealed the details of his last phone call with the Sussexes on the eve of their wedding, saying the decision to plan the photos will ‘haunt me for the rest of my life’.

He said: ‘Harry said to me, “If you had listened to me, this wouldn’t have happened to you.” I said to him, “It’s too bad I didn’t die because then you guys could pretend you were sad” and then I hung up on them. I was done.’

Thomas said he has not spoken to them since or met Archie, despite sending texts and letters, and added: ‘I don’t think at this point they’re thrilled to see me or want to talk to me. The last time they might see me is being lowered into the ground.’

In the 90-minute documentary, a visibly crestfallen Thomas described having to watch his daughter Meghan walk down the aisle on television as he recovered from a heart attack.

He admitted he was ‘jealous’ of the Prince of Wales walking his daughter down the aisle as that was something he ‘really wanted to do’.

Thomas Markle was due to walk Meghan up the aisle for her wedding in Windsor, but offered to pull out when it emerged that he had made a secret deal with a photographer. Harry and Meghan are pictured on their wedding day in 2018

Thomas said: ‘My daughter looked beautiful. I wish that I could have been there with her. I was certainly appreciative Charles was there. I admit I cried a bit about that. To this day I can’t forget that moment.’

Mr Markle, who divorced Meghan’s mother Doria in the late 1980s, said the last time he spoke to his daughter was during an emotional series of phone calls days before her wedding.

From March 31, the monarch’s grandson and American former actress Meghan will no longer use their HRH styles as they pursue a new private life continuing to support charities close to their heart as they become financially independent.

Yesterday it was reported Harry and Meghan have accepted an invitation from the Queen to join her at Balmoral this summer – and they could bring son Archie along for the first time.

The Sussexes are also expected to spend time with the Prince of Wales and the Duchess of Cornwall at Birkhall, Charles’s retreat on the Balmoral estate, according to Roya Nikkhah writing in The Sunday Times.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle ‘fearful’ of their future outside Royal Family, expert claims | Daily Mail Online

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are likely to be feeling ‘fearful’ of their future outside The Firm, a royal expert has claimed.

Royal commentator Omid Scobie told how the Duke, 35, and Duchess of Sussex, 38, will be feeling anxious now they have officially completed their royal duties, and said their final farewells to their royal staff.

‘They helped them fend off attacks from the tabloids and helped them organize tours and the amazing engagements,’ he said, speaking to US television show Hollywood Access

‘It is that team that make all of that happen. For Harry and Meghan to leave all that behind there is probably going to be a sense of fear.

The couple will officially take a ‘step back’ from their role as senior royals on March 31, where they will start a new life in Canada with their son Archie, 10 months.

‘For Meghan Markle saying goodbye to her staff didn’t just represent a sad ending for the relationship that they had working together, it also represented the end of her time as a working member of the Royal family,’ explained Omid.

‘The emotions were really heightened and there were tears and hugs.

‘I think for Meghan she really appreciates the work that this very small team, that has become like a family to the couple, have done for them.’

The royal commentator went on to say the couple’s decision to step back as senior royals hasn’t been without its sacrifices. He added: ‘They will be starting with an entirely new group of people once they are fully out of the Royal Family.

‘That is going to take some time to really get used to.’

However, the royal expert went on to say that the couple’s decision to step back in a bid to become financially independent also means they will lose some of their privileges.

‘While they may be making sacrifices of their own, they are losing a lot of privileges as non-working members of the Royal Family,’ he said.

‘Harry gave up his honouree military titles which has probably been the toughest pill to swallow for them.’
