Days of Our Lives Veteran James Reynolds Celebrates His Birthday

Congratulations are in order for Days of Our Lives Abe Carver. Not only was he re-instated as Mayor of Salem, but he is about to become a grandfather twice over courtesy of Lani and her twin babies. And actor James Reynolds has a milestone all his own to celebrate.

Happy Birthday, James Reynolds

And that’s because he was born on August 10, 1946, in Oskaloosa, Kansas, which means that this talented actor is turning 74 years old today! Reynolds joined his college’s theater department and while performing on the stage, he discovered a passion for acting and he decided to pursue it as a career. His first professional role went uncredited – he was “Black Prisoner” in the 1974 feature Mr. Majestyk.

Subsequently, he appeared in episodes of Keeper of the Wild (Paul Limkula), Bigfoot and Wildboy (Tech Sergeant), The Incredible Hulk (Kent), and Time Express (where he recurred as R.J. Walker).

In 1981, Reynolds originated the role of Abraham “Abe” Carver on the NBC serial Days of Our Lives. After appearing in the part for nine years, Reynolds left in order to assume the part of Henry Marshall, a character on a brand-new NBC soap titled Generations.

Once that series was canceled, Reynold’s returned to DAYS where he has remained ever since – barring a brief exit in 2003 when the character was presumed slain by the Salem Slasher.

Reynolds’s other acting credits include a plethora of feature films such as Fun With Dick and Jane (Johnson), The Magic of Lassie (Officer Wilson), and C.H.O.M.P.S, as well as several made-for-TV movies like Devil Dog: The Hound of Hell (Policeman) and Jennifer: A Woman’s Story (Tom).

Soap Hub would like to wish James Reynolds a very happy birthday and you can too by clicking on the Twitter link below. Days of Our Lives airs weekdays on NBC. Check your local listings for airtimes.

Days of Our Lives News Updates: Deidre Hall And Her Twin Have An Art Collection For Sale – Soap Opera Spy

Days of our Lives: Deidre Hall And Andrea Hall-Gengler Days of our Lives spoilers reveal that many fans still remember the time that Deidre Hall and her twin sister Andrea Hall-Gengler played twins on the NBC sudser. It was back in 1977 that Hall-Gengler was hired to play Samantha, Marlena Evans’ twin and fans were treated to an intriguing and captivating story.

Those fans, as well fans who are newer to the show, will be happy to hear that the beautiful and talented sisters have collaborated on a new project, one that they can actually own a piece of!

The pair recently talked to Soap Opera Digest about their new venture as well as the good old Salem days and we have all the details for you here.

Days Of Our Lives spoilers – Real-Life Twins Andrea Hall-Gengler And Diedre Hall Once Played Twins On The NBC Sudser

Their collaboration was born out of a fun hobby that they engaged in during a recent visit. Both Deidre and Andrea love to watercolor and as they sat at the kitchen table they realized they were on to something that their fans might enjoy.

They have each painted a collection of flag note cards and you can check them out, as well as purchase them here: deidrehall.com/shop. The series is called the Westbrook Collection and one day they may add to the merch with a series of shoe paintings.

DOOL Spoilers – It Was Deidre HallWho Shared The Idea Of Andrea Hall-Gengler Joining The Show

According to Deidre, it was when then-head writer Ann Marcus asked her about storyline ideas when she mentioned her twin. The next thing she knew, her sister was flown out to California and as Andrea puts it, “The audience went crazy,” for the plot in which she played Samantha, a Hollywood actress.

Deidre shared that filming was also made easier as, “having a twin meant the production could go on a regular schedule.”

Days Of Our Lives Spoilers – What’s Next For Marlena Evans On The NBC Sudser?

Marlena Evans is a fixture in Salem—it seems that everyone goes to her for advice and comfort. At the present time, she is dealing with multiple family dramas, namely the return of one of her own twins, Sami Brady (Alison Sweeney). She is also trying to advise Sami’s daughter Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold) on how best to handle her complicated pregnancy.

Days of Our Lives Spoilers Next 2 Weeks: Baby Adoption Shocker – Birth, Bomb Blast and Deadly Kidnapping | Celeb Dirty Laundry

Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers for the next two weeks tease that some tight spots are in store for several Salemites. During the week of July 20-24, Claire Brady (Olivia Rose Keegan) will face a tough blow. Once Ciara Brady (Victoria Konefal) suddenly gets ill and assumes it’s just her maid of honor’s latest sabotage, she’ll kick Claire out of the wedding party.

Belle Black (Martha Madison) and Shawn Brady (Brandon Beemer) will grill their daughter, but Claire will promise she only wanted to get her friendship with Ciara back on track.

Even so, concerns will rev up after Claire gets tripped up by her own deception. There’s a good chance this involves Claire’s lie about the save-the-date card and how she knew about Ciara’s wedding in advance.

After a bomb blast causes mayhem at Ciara and Ben Weston’s (Robert Scott Wilson) wedding, Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold) will be rushed to the hospital. It looks like Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) will obey Sami Brady’s (Alison Sweeney) orders and turn down Allie’s offer as well.

During the week of July 27-31, Allie will have some positive updates for Sonny Kiriakis (Freddie Smith) and Will Horton (Chandler Massey). Will and Sonny will apparently learn Rafe passed up his chance at adopting the baby, so “WilSon” will happily start making plans for their new bundle of joy.

Meanwhile, Sami will push Rafe not to tell Allie about how she’s manipulated the situation, but Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan) and Nicole Brady (Arianne Zucker) will find out anyway. It won’t be long until Nicole exposes Sami’s scheming to Allie, who’ll go into labor and ban her mom from the delivery room.

Instead, it’ll be Nicole who Allie wants by her side for the birth. Back with Will and Sonny, they’ll fill Arianna Horton (Sydney Brower) in on the little brother or sister she’s getting.

Ari wasn’t all that thrilled when they raised the possibility, but Sonny and Will may be able to win her over. Perhaps Will and Sonny could promise a puppy as well as just plan on a very full house!

Back with Rafe, he’ll interrogate Claire about the bomb and perhaps determine that she couldn’t have planted it. As for Ciara, she’ll pay Clyde Weston (James Read) a visit in prison and confront him about the wedding chaos.

There’s no word on why Ciara will suspect Clyde, but maybe it’ll just be a matter of desperation. Ciara will be searching for answers since Ben will be missing after the ceremony.

Days of Our Lives spoilers say Ciara will settle on a new theory eventually, so she’ll share that theory with Rafe. Whether Ciara’s right or wrong, she’ll have some help. Ciara will make amends with Claire, who’ll assure Ciara that she wants to help. Claire and Ciara will join forces to find Ben before it’s too late.

As for Ben, he’ll become someone’s hostage – and it looks like that someone will be Eve Donovan (Kassie DePaiva)! Ben’s history will cause major drama for him as his captor reveals his or her identity along with devious plans.

Over with Ciara and Claire again, a shocking revelation will hit them hard. It sounds like Claire and Ciara will realize Eve’s out for vengeance because of Paige Larson’s (True O’Brien) death.

Next, Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) will fume over some DiMera Enterprises developments. Days spoilers say Chad will learn Gabi Hernandez DiMera’s (Camila Banus) been busy plotting behind his back.

Finally, Gwen (Emily O’Brien) will officially take up residence in the DiMera mansion – and Jake will do the same. It sounds like Chad may invite Gwen to stay while Gabi brings in Jake. With these four under one roof, it’s probably a disaster waiting to happen! We’ll provide updates as other Days news rolls in.

Days of Our Lives spoilers say some chaotic moments are coming up, so keep watching. CDL will have tons of other scorching Days of Our Lives spoilers, updates and news for you, so make sure to stop by again soon.
