Kim Kardashian Says Justice Reform is ‘Personal’: ‘I’m Raising Mixed Kids’ | toofab.com

Kim Kardashian revealed why she has assumed the social justice warrior mantle and it all has to do with her family.

During a guest appearance on “CBS This Morning” recorded from her home, the reality star opened up to Gayle King about what ignited her passion for reforming the criminal justice system, which began by taking on the case of Alice Marie Johnson, who was serving a life sentence without the possibility of parole for a first-time drug offense.

“I thought, okay that does not add up. This just is not fair,” the 38-year-old explained. “If she did something against the law, of course, she should do time, but what is that sentencing time? And so for me, realizing they lock up black and brown people five more times than white people — I am raising mixed kids. To me, that becomes really personal.”

Hey guys! Tune in to @CBSThisMorning as I talk to @GayleKing about my new documentary #KKWTheJusticeProject and how I’m giving back to the families affected by the COVID-19 pandemic this morning at 8:40AM PST! pic.twitter.com/GaQKzpuJy8

— Kim Kardashian West (@KimKardashian)

Kim shares North, 6, Saint, 4, Chicago, 2, and Psalm, 10 months, with Kanye West.

After Kim visited with Donald Trump to plead the case, Johnson was granted clemency in June 2018.

On the daytime talk show, she also revealed that said she felt like the case “found her.”

“I happened to be on my phone and saw a video that she did — like a video op-ed that she did — and she explained her story. She was the phone mule and she got a harsher sentence than Charles Manson did,” she detailed.

@KimKardashianWest THANK YOU Kim Kardashian for deciding to fight for justice. Saw your great interview on CBS This Morning w/ Gayle King. We are looking forward to watching your television documentary on Oxygen. Keep up the great work.#TheJusticeProject #CriminalJusticeReform pic.twitter.com/NYq77n04nO

“I just couldn’t sit back and see Alice spend the rest of her life in prison when I saw that she had her big family and it just reminded me of my family,” she continued.

“I thought, ‘What if one of us made a decision that just changed our family for the rest of our lives?'”

Kim said once she realized there are many more women like Alice in prison, she had to take some action. Now she said she believes in second chances and that people can transform once she went to prisons and met with the inmates.

Gayle asked what Kim’s father would think about her foray into the legal world, as Robert Kardashian Sr. was a famous attorney who passed in 2003.

“Him and I talked about it a lot. I know he would be really proud. I think knowing that when I get exhausted and think I want to give up, I know that he’s pushing me not to give up.”

Jodie Quits! Julia Foster is the 14th Doctor, with Tennant Back as Companion | Doctor Who TV

Jodie Quits! Julia Foster is the 14th Doctor, with Tennant Back as Companion

Veteran actress Julia Foster will replace Jodie Whittaker after she bows out from Doctor Who in this year’s festive special.

Despite claims to the contrary, Whittaker in fact filmed her final scenes late last year. Producers were hoping to spring a surprise regeneration on fans, but fears it would leak early have forced an official statement now.

Foster is no stranger to Doctor Who, having appeared earlier this year in the critically acclaimed “Orphan 55”.

Foster’s casting is said to be part of an attempt to take the show “back to basics” with an older, more seasoned actor in the iconic role. Producers are also considering filming exclusively in black and white again to capture a “Hartnell vibe”.

Due to concerns over ratings, David Tennant will be brought back, but with a twist. This time he’ll not be playing the Doctor, but in fact new companion, Ben.

Chris Chibnall will remain in his position as the popular showrunner. He said: “We’re sad to lose Jodie, but thrilled to welcome Julia and David (again) in this next exciting chapter of Doctor Who. Julia’s performance in “Orphan 55” blew everyone away, and we knew we had found another dynamite bit of casting for the Doctor.”

Julia Foster said: “It’s a dream come true. If you thought my previous character was a badass, just wait until you see the 14th Doctor in action. She’s tough as nails, shouts a lot, and can wave her Sonic around like never before!”

David Tennant said: “I’m so excited to be working with the Chibster again! And now I get to be the companion. What a crazy world! And just wait until we’re 18 episodes in, when you finally find out Ben’s backstory…”

How Prince Harry and Meghan Markle could live out Diana’s California dream | Daily Mail Online

Prince Harry could live out his mother’s dream of moving to Malibu if he and Meghan Markle decide to settle in the affluent California neighbourhood.

Harry, 35, and Meghan, 38, who officially stepped down as senior working royals yesterday, are said to have viewed a $20million mansion in the star-studded area as they look to set up a permanent home in the US following Megxit.

The property, which boasts a pool and tennis court, is close to a Tuscan-style villa that Dodi Fayed bought before his death in 1997.

Former royal butler Paul Burrell has previously claimed that Princess Diana was planning on moving to the sprawling Malibu home to escape the scrutiny of the British press before she died.

Harry and Meghan, pictured last year, are said to have viewed a $20million mansion in Malibu – the California neighbourhood where Princess Diana had reportedly been planning to move with Dodi Fayed before her death in 1997. Harry and Meghan stepped down as royals yesterday

‘She said, “This is our new life, just won’t it be great, think of the lifestyle the boys — nobody’s judgmental here in America, you don’t have the class system, you don’t have the establishment”,’ he recalled in a 2007 interview with ABC news.

It was reported last week that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle had left the $10million bolthole on Vancouver Island, Canada, where they had been living since quitting the UK in January to relocate to the US before travel restrictions between the two countries were put in place.

The Sussexes want to be close to ‘their new team of Hollywood agents and PRs’ as well as Meghan’s friends and mother Doria, a source told The Sun. They are now believed to be in lockdown in the Hollywood area with ten-month-old baby Archie.

While it is not known where the couple will eventually choose to settle, Malibu would certainly be a logical choice; it has one of the most expensive ZIP codes in the country and boasts a stunning coastline, should Harry and Meghan have got used to being by the water in Canada.

Last Month sources claimed Prince Harry and Meghan Markle plan to rent this sprawling $20million Malibu mansion to get a feel for SoCal life post Megxit

While it’s more than 50km from central LA, it’s a quiet, secluded place ideal for nature-loving celebrities looking for privacy.

Its residents include the likes of Cindy Crawford, Courteney Cox, Leonardo DiCaprio, Steven Spielberg and Patrick Dempsey.

The huge eight bedroom, 10 bathroom property, called Petra Manor, costs a hefty $15,950 a night, but sources told DailyMailTV the couple is keen to sample Malibu before laying down any long term roots.

The recently renovated Italian style mansion sits in a secure gated community and boasts a swimming pool and cabana, jacuzzi and perfectly manicured grounds

Stay Awhile Villas owner Stuart Heller wouldn’t confirm the couple had chosen the manor, but did say: ‘Stay Awhile Villas is often contacted by high profile families seeking to test neighborhoods throughout Los Angeles before making any move permanent.

‘This is the perfect property for anyone wanting to move to the area and Harry and Meghan will want to see if Malibu suits their lifestyle.

‘The house is a short term rental, many people come to Malibu looking for a home and they will rent somewhere first to see if it makes sense for them and their family.’

The house in question would be just 30 miles away from her Meghan’s Doria, 63, in the Windsor Hills. Malibu also offers the couple easy access to Hollywood as they field offers from film and television powerhouses such as Netflix and Disney.

Have Prince Harry and Meghan Markle hired Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie’s former bodyguard? | Daily Mail Online

Harry and Meghan are reportedly hiring former SAS soldiers to replace their Scotland Yard bodyguards.

They apparently chose from a shortlist of two firms whose staff have guarded stars including Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, Nicole Kidman, Madonna and the Ecclestone family.

From tomorrow, the Sussexes will no longer be working members of the Royal Family as they pursue new lives and careers in US with their ten-month-old son Archie.

Harry and Meghan are reportedly hiring former SAS soldiers to replace their Scotland Yard bodyguards

As the Daily Mail revealed this week, they have agreed to meet the bill for their own security in America. Harry and Meghan had found themselves at the centre of a row over the cost to British taxpayers of providing them with round-the-clock protection by the Metropolitan Police during their new life in California.

The row deepened after President Donald Trump said Americans should not be asked to contribute. The couple have decided to hire a private security team charging around £400 a day per guard, the Sun reported yesterday.

Experts say their annual bill could be up to £4million as they will require the use of several bodyguards a day. While a spokesman for the couple insisted they would meet the bill personally, Prince Charles may also contribute.

He has agreed to make a substantial contribution towards his son and daughter-in-law’s living costs for the next 12 months while they ‘get on their feet’.

Sources have warned that the money, which will come from his personal funds and not the Duchy of Cornwall, is not ‘inexhaustible’ and will be reviewed in a year.

Meanwhile the Royal Family are determined to put the Megxit saga behind them, the Daily Mail can reveal. While there is still sadness – and hurt – over Harry and Meghan’s decision to step down as working royals and live abroad, the Queen, Prince Charles, Prince William and other senior figures believe there is no more they can do to bridge the divide.

‘Harry and Meghan have made their decision and it is clear they have moved on, which is what everyone else is now trying to do,’ well-placed sources said. ‘There is a lot of work to do, especially given the health crisis currently faced by this country.’

From tomorrow, the Sussexes will no longer be working members of the Royal Family. Signing off their Sussex Royal social media feed, Harry and Meghan told their 11million followers: ‘Thank you to this community for the support, the inspiration and the shared commitment to the good in the world’

THEN AND NOW: The cast of ‘The Matrix’ 21 years later, Business Insider – Business Insider Singapore

It’s been over two decades since viewers were first introduced to the world of “The Matrix” (1999).

And the series isn’t over quite yet – the fourth installment of the Lana and Lily Wachowski-directed franchise is in the works and it’s set to star favorites from the original movie, including Keanu Reeves and Carrie-Anne Moss.

Here’s what the original cast of “The Matrix” is up to 21 years after the movie’s initial release.

Keanu Reeves starred as a computer programmer and hacker named Thomas “Neo” Anderson.

Before becoming a household from his role in “The Matrix,” Reeves already had over a decade of film and TV credits under his belt.

He starred in films like “Speed” (1994) and “Bill and Ted’s Excellent Adventure” (1989), as well as starring on the shot-lived spin-off series “Bill and Ted’s Excellent Adventures.”

The actor has recently had a career revival, which some people are calling “The Keanaissance.”

Since the premiere of “The Matrix,” Reeves revived his role in “The Matrix Reloaded” (2003), “The Matrix Revolutions” (2003), and he’s currently working on “The Matrix 4,” which is set to release in 2021.

He also went on to star in the “John Wick” series, which is also working on its fourth installment to be released in 2021.

Although the actor’s career has spanned over three decades, Reeves has recently been making headlines due to his uncharacteristic film roles in rom-com like Netflix’s “Always Be My Maybe” and the Pixar animated film “Toy Story 4.”

Carrie-Anne Moss played Trinity, a crew member of the Nebuchadnezzar who falls in love with Neo.

Moss was already a decade into her successful acting career in films and on TV before taking on the role of Trinity.

Although Moss is best-known for playing Neo’s love interest, she also went on to play Natalie in “Memento” (2000), Detective Olivia Neal in “The Crew” (2000), and Caroline Clairmont in “Chocolat” (2000) the following year.

In recent years, Moss has spent more time on television.

In addition to playing lawyer Jeryn Hogarth on Marvel’s “Daredevil,” “Iron Fist,” “The Defenders,” and “Jessica Jones,” Moss recently starred as Rebecca Pruitt on the series “Tell Me a Story” and played FBI agent Maggie Griffin on “Wisting.”

She is set to return for the latest installment of “The Matrix.”

As Morpheus, Laurence Fishburne played the captain of the Nebuchadnezzar who gives Neo the pill showing him the reality of the Matrix.

The “Pee-wee’s Playhouse” alum appeared as Morpheus for the first time in 1999.

The Wachowskis reportedly asked Fishburne to draw inspiration for his performance from the character Morpheus who appears in Neil Gaiman’s comics “Sandman,” according to Gaiman’s blog.

Since “The Matrix,” the actor has starred alongside Reeves in the “John Wick” films as Bowery King.

The actor has also done a lot of work on television. He’s played Jack Crawford on “Hannibal,” Alex Haley on “Roots,” Nelson Mandela on “Madiba,” and the character Pops on “Grown-ish” and “Black-ish.”

He currently has four films in production (including “The Ice Road” with Liam Neeson) but he hasn’t been confirmed for “The Matrix 4.”

As Agent Smith, Hugo Weaving played one of the Matrix’s highly intelligent and sentient computers who tries to keep humans from freeing themselves.

Before the film, Hugo Weaving found success appearing in several TV mini-series throughout the late 1980s and 1990s.

According to Weaving, one of the best parts about appearing in “The Matrix” was being able to add some humor to his role.

“I thought [Agent Smith] would be great fun to play. There’s definitely a light relief there. The heroes don’t have the ability to dip into humor. They’re trying to save the world,” Weaving said, reflecting on his character during a 2018 interview with Film Ink.

“I have much more scope with my character to be funny. You could see it in the writing – it attracted me to that character.”

Weaving went on to play villains in movies like “V for Vendetta” (2005) and “Captain America: The First Avenger” (2011).

But in addition to playing villains, the actor is well-known for playing the elf Elrond in “The Lord of the Rings” trilogy and “The Hobbit” series.

His most recent films include “Hearts and Bones” (2019) and “Measure for Measure” (2019), and he’s currently working on the films “Lone Wolf” and “Loveland” slated to be released this year.

Joe Pantoliano took on the role of Cypher, a human who’d been freed by Morpheus but later betrayed him in order to get back into the Matrix.

Joe Pantoliano, who’d previously worked with the Wachowskis in the 1996 flick “Bound,” reunited with his “The Matrix” co-star Moss for “Memento” in 2000.

In recent years, Pantoliano has played Ralph Cifaretto on “The Sopranos” and Michael Gorski on “Sense8.”

Although it’s unclear if he’ll be back for the fourth “Matrix” film, the actor recently reprised his role as Captain Howard in “Bad Boys For Life” (2020).

He is currently working on three films including “Spring Break ’83.”

Switch, a freed human who was later a part of the Nebuchadnezzar crew, was played by Belinda McClory.

Prior to her role in “The Matrix,” Belinda McClory had several smaller parts on TV shows.

She played Kirsty Nichols on “Janus,” Wendy on “Simon De Beauvoir’s Babies,” and Sr. Const. Robyn Taylor on “Blue Heelers.”

“The Matrix” was the height of McClory’s career thus far, but she’s also known for starring in “Darklovestory” (2006) and “X” (2011).

Recently, the actress also played Alice Harvey on “The Doctor Blake Mysteries” series and subsequent TV movies.

Her most recent credit is “2099: The Soldier Person” (2019).

Mouse, a freed human and programmer aboard the Nebuchadnezzar, was played by Matt Doran.

Prior to his role in “The Matrix,” the Australian actor played Damian Roberts on the series “Home and Away” as well as Private Cooms in “The Thin Red Line” (1998).

Doran went on to play Elan Sleazebaggano in “Star Wars: Episode II — Attack of the Clones” (2002) and Malcolm in the 2006 remake of “Macbeth.”

He’s kept busy with smaller roles in recent years and is set to play Jake Galloway in the upcoming thriller “Intersection.”

Robert Taylor played another one of the sentient machines in “The Matrix,” named Agent Jones.

Another “Home and Away” star, Taylor played Nicholas Walsh on the popular Australian series before appearing in “The Matrix.”

He also played Dave Griffin in a number of “The Feds” TV-movie installments as well as Jack Cleary in “The Thorn Birds: The Missing Years” (1996).

The actor has kept busy over the decades, most notably playing the title role on the long-running series “Longmire.”

He is also known for having many movie roles, playing Skip Taylor in “Vertical Limit” (2000), Everett in “Rogue” (2007), and Heller in “The Meg” (2018).

Most recently he was in “Into the Ashes” (2019), “Blood Vessel” (2019), and on the series “Dolly Parton’s Heartstrings.”

Prince Charles to pay $2.5M for Harry and Meghan’s security costs

Prince Harry is getting his dad to fork over $2.5 million per year toward his post-Megxit US security costs that sparked a diplomatic spat with President Trump, according to a report.

Trump sternly insisted Harry and wife Meghan Markle “must pay” for their own security after jetting into their new life in California — with the couple insisting that “privately funded security arrangements have been made.”

Those arrangements are being fronted by Harry’s dad, the UK’s 71-year-old heir to the throne, Prince Charles, a royal source told the Daily Mail.

“Charles has agreed to pay a ‘private contribution’ to the Sussexes. It will not be revealed how much and what that is used for, but it is believed to be around £2 million,” the source said of what equates to just under $2.5 million.

“However, the Prince of Wales does not have an infinite amount of money,” the source said — while conceding his annual income from his private estate, the Duchy of Cornwall, is around $26 million.

Page Six first reported on Friday that the couple left their $14 million bolthole in Canada and took a private jet with baby Archie to the Los Angeles area before the borders were closed amid the coronavirus crisis.

Meghan’s mother Doria lives in Los Angeles, and the 38-year-old former “Suits” star grew up there.

Their security bill is likely to be even higher than first thought because British cops are unable to carry guns in the US, meaning the couple needs to hire private guards, the Mail says.

Buckingham Palace refused to comment on the report nor whether it meant UK taxpayers would no longer have to contribute towards any future bill, the Mail said.

Are Cash-Strapped Meghan Markle & Prince Harry Nearing a ‘Breaking Point’?

Meghan Markle’s Hollywood dreams could be fading fast. New reports suggest that she and Prince Harry are rapidly running out of money. And the strain on their finances is reportedly straining their relationship.

Meghan Markle’ Orders’ Prince Harry to Save Them Both

According to UK news outlet Express, a “royal insider” claimed things are getting testy between the former royals. Express says Meghan has “ordered” Prince Harry to get a job. The insider explains:

Meghan is terrified that her dreams of being a Hollywood queen will be destroyed by this financial nightmare and she is insisting that Harry make a move and resolve the crisis.

That sounds like a job for a prince. Unfortunately, Harry is no longer an actual prince. The insider continues:

The big problem is that Harry has no marketable skills, has never had a real job…

He does not have a university degree nor does he know a second language. He only has military training.

Prince Harry has to be feeling a bit neutered. After all, this isn’t the first time Meghan has bossed him around.

What Did You Expect When You Left the Royal Family?

What, exactly, is the “crisis” that Meghan Markle wants him to solve? It seems to be the one she caused when she convinced his man to leave his royal family. Surely, there would be no money issues if these two still lived in the UK.

But since she convinced Prince Harry to leave, he’s now closer to just an average person. He doesn’t have the power he had when she married him. Donald Trump made that abundantly clear when he triumphantly denied the couple access to American-funded protection.

It’s like she fell in love with Superman and then immediately dressed him in kryptonite. He’s powerless now. Sure, he might be able to create something out of thin air based on his name alone, but it’s going to be much harder in this new economy.

Meghan Markle & Harry’s Relationship Is Starting to Get Rocky

The insider described their newly forming relationship issues:

Harry has given up on real life for his rebellious American wife, but his sacrifice is exploding in his face.

Their marriage is tense, they could be at a breaking point.

This comes after news that Harry ‘snapped’ when he decided to move to Canada with Meghan. He’s had mixed feelings about being stuck in a house with her. And now, they’ve already moved to LA.

Meghan Markle is risking a lot to get her time in the spotlight. Her relationship is apparently on the rocks. Her man left his family. Maybe this global pandemic slows down, and they get back on track. But it seems like she’ll stop at nothing until she becomes relevant in Hollywood. Hopefully, it’s worth it.

Paris Hilton voted the most hated American on Spain’s Costa del Sol – Euro Weekly News Spain USA News Article

Paris Hilton takes a hammering in recent poll on Spain’s Costa Del Sol as she’s voted the most hated American

As the Costa del Sol sits on lockdown and confined to homes for now 15 days, residents on social media are passing time by asking friends and followers all sorts of questions to answer and share.

Amy Beaton from Torreblanca asked the question, reply with your most hated American expecting the poll topper to come back as President Donald Trump but was shocked after 48 hours of answers that it was actually Paris Hilton.

Paris Hilton for those of you who don’t know is the daughter and heiress of the Hilton hotel chain which was founded by her great grandfather, at present she resides in Los Angeles and milks the celebrity status as she struts around high celebrity parties ensuring she gets her face in the press.

Her most famous headlines were when a home made sex video was leaked in 2003 and was shared on the internet as it went viral around the world, although many still remain of though that it wasn’t leaked at all and she did it for publicity and more self seeking fame.

Anyway it seems despite her success in the United States Of America, she’s deemed by Amy Beaton’s poll to be the most despised and hated woman on Spain’s Costa del Sol.

Amy told the Euro Weekly News: “I only started the poll for a little light relief and it went out to about 5,000 expats here on the coast, I was expecting it to come back as outright winner Donald Trump, but I was amazed when it came back Paris Hilton, personally I don’t take much notice of her, I hardly know who she is, but I never expected her to be the most hated”

One voter Stephanie Booth told us “I voted for her as I can’t stand her, let’s be honest she hasn’t actually done anything in her life has she? apart from be born with a silver spoon in her mouth, she struts round as she owns the world and can’t keep her face out the press”

“She’s a publicity seeking b^tch, I can’t even look at her face, she makes me so angry, if you are born into money like that, have some class hey!”

Amy’s poll certainly has caused a stir on the Costa del Sol during lockdown, oh and Donald Trump came in third behind OJ Simpson.

Lizzo Responds to Blueface Shooting His Shot | The Source

In an interview with 92.3 LA, Blueface had some interesting comments in regards to three-time Grammy award winner, Lizzo.  The rapper posted the video on his Instagram account with the caption, “They ask da questions I just answer them.”

In the video, one of the radio hosts on the show asked Blueface, “Lizzo has the coronavirus, are you still in?” Even though the rapper wore a medical mask, it didn’t stop fans from hearing his answer. “I done hit a couple big bitches in my day, you feel me?” he stated. Before giving a big grin the rapper made another remark, “Lizzo, if you out there and you hearin’ this. Call me, baby. Call me.” Despite being asked questions previously about Meg The Stallion and Rihanna, the rapper only posted the video of him answering the questions regarding Lizzo on his Instagram account with the caption, “They ask da questions I just answer them.”

The hosts on the show told Blueface that they believe that the singer would call after seeing his video. It’s safe to say Lizzo has seen the message and has responded, but not with the phonecall that the hosts believed Blueface would receive. Instead, the singer posted a sultry photo on Instagram with the caption, “Blueface Babyyy.” Could the celebrities just be flirting? Or is there potential for a hook up here?

Brittney Taylor Involved In A Minor Scuffle After Having A Little Too Much To Drink! – The Shade Room

As many people continue to practice social distancing around this time, some people are still holding small gatherings and keeping them under the 10 person limit, as instructed by officials.

Sunday night, former Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta star Tommie Lee had a few friends over for some Sunday dinner. However, things took an unexpected turn after some of the guests had a little too much to drink. Also in attendance at Tommie’s place for dinner was current “Love & Hip Hop: Miami” star Bobby Lytes, former “Love & Hip Hop: New York” star Britney Taylor, and also another friend.

Everyone was seen on social media having a good time with each other, however, things started to take a turn when Tommie said she came out of the restroom to see Britney and the other friend get into a scuffle.

In the video, it is mentioned that both ladies had too much to drink and that ultimately led to the incident. However, we were reassured that there is no real issue between the two women, and it was just a random incident that can pretty much be blamed on alcohol.

President Trump Says Prince Harry, Meghan Markle Must Pay for Security – Variety

President Trump Says Prince Harry and Meghan Markle Must Pay for Own Security

After moving to the U.S. and leaving the royal family behind, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle must now pay for their own security team, according to President Trump.

Before recently relocating to the U.S., the couple had been living in Canada under the watch and protection of British security and the Royal Canadian Mounted Police. The price of their security team was estimated to cost millions of dollars per year, but who is footing the bill in America is still up in the air.

However, Trump made it clear on Sunday that the U.S. will not provide any federal protection and the former Duke and Duchess of Sussex must pay on their own.

“I am a great friend and admirer of the Queen & the United Kingdom. It was reported that Harry and Meghan, who left the Kingdom, would reside permanently in Canada. Now they have left Canada for the U.S., however, the U.S. will not pay for their security protection. They must pay!” he tweeted.

Speaking to the publication, Ronan said: ‘Yes, we’re having a baby girl! It’s super exciting. We are very lucky and I am so happy for Storm.’

Trying times: The family have of course welcomed their child amid the current coronavirus pandemic, and will have been self-isolating in the past few weeks – with Ronan performing virtual gigs online for fans to keep morale high

Storm added: ‘I’ve always wanted at least one of each sex so I’m feeling very blessed. That’s five kids in total now, so that’s enough, we’re going to have to get Ro to have the snip.’

Boyzone star Ronan has son Jack, 20, and daughters Missy, 18, and Ali, 14, from his marriage ex-wife Yvonne Connolly. He also has two-year-old son Cooper with Storm.

On welcoming a baby girl into their home, Ronan said: ‘People say that girls can be trickier. With Cooper being such a dream we’re scared we can’t get that lucky twice.’

But Storm, who has already picked out a ‘non-traditional’ name for the baby, has insisted that ‘even if [the baby] is a little terror’, she is ‘chuffed’ to be having a girl.

Thomas Markle claims Prince Harry and Meghan Markle should support the Queen | Daily Mail Online

The Duchess of Sussex‘s father has once again spoken out against his daughter, claiming she should return to England to support the royal family amid the coronavirus outbreak.

American lighting director Thomas Markle, 75, has not spoken to Meghan Markle, 38, since he missed her wedding after he was exposed for selling paparazzi pictures, before giving a stream of cruel interviews about his daughter.

And now he has insisted that Prince Harry, 35, Meghan and 10-month-old Archie should return from their rumoured Malibu abode, to support the Queen and the rest of the royal family, who are currently in self isolation.

Last year it emerged Meghan had reached out to her father and begged him to patch things up privately.

The Duchess of Sussex’s father has once again spoken out against his daughter, claiming she should return to England to support the royal family amid the coronavirus outbreak (seen together when Meghan was a child)

Speaking to the Mirror, he said: ‘I think Meghan and Harry should go back to the Royal family in the UK and be supportive of the Queen.

‘I think they should be in England at this time and not in LA.’

‘They can join the A-list and make lots of money, of course, when the problem with the virus is over.’

Despite giving the interview, Thomas then went on to plead with Harry and Meghan to get in contact with him, revealing he is in the ‘high risk’ category due to his age and health issues amid the outbreak.

He has insisted that Prince Harry, 35, Meghan (seen this month in London) and 10-month-old Archie should return from their rumoured Malibu abode, to support the Queen and the rest of the royal family, who are currently in self isolation

Telling them to ‘be careful’ and that ‘he loved them’, he argued that Prince Harry had ‘made a mistake’ by recently being tricked into talking to Russian pranksters, and likened it to him ‘mistakenly’ selling pictures to the paparazi.

He concluded that ‘everyone has made mistakes’ and  ‘it’s time for Archie to say hello to grandpa’.

Meghan has had to endure regular public outbursts from her half sister Samantha Markle, and her father Thomas.

Meghan has maintained a dignified silence amid an array of public outbursts by both Samantha and her father.

Last February it emerged the Duchess had reached out to her estranged father shortly after her wedding in May 2018.

The Queen (seen last month) is currently in self isolation amid the pandemic, after Prince Charles was diagnosed with coronavirus

The Duchess had said she was devastated by her her father’s Thomas Markle’s public attacks on her and begged him to patch up their differences privately.

At the beginning of the month Prince Harry was duped into discussing a fictional island, smoking cannabis, and transporting penguins to the North Pole by Russian pranksters.

Posing as Greta Thunberg and her father Svante, they fooled Harry into thinking that mining companies close to President Trump were exploiting ‘Chunga-Chunga’ – the name of a Russian children’s song about a fictional island in the tropics.

Kuznetsov and Stolyarov, who have also pranked Sir Elton John and Tayyip Erdogan, also poked fun at the Duke smoking ‘weed’ on the fake Greta’s eco-catamaran

Harry and Meghan have reportedly left Canada for LA and are believed to want to rent a place similar to what they potentially could live in long term – and they’re eyeing up a Malibu mansion

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex could be planning to stay at this sprawling Malibu mansion called Petra Manor to test out life in southern California

Prince Harry is believed to have been tricked into conversation with Kuznetsov and Stolyarov on New Year’s Eve and January 22 on Vancouver Island.

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have reportedly left Canada for good to set up a permanent home in Los Angeles – and it’s likely affluent Malibu is top of their list.

Last week a royal insider claimed the Duke and Duchess of Sussex decided to leave Vancouver Island – where they have been staying since announcing they were stepping down as senior royals in January – amid fears the US-Canada border could close due to coronavirus.

The Sussexes want to be close to Meghan’s friends and mother Doria, the source told The Sun. They are now believed to be in lockdown in the Hollywood area with ten-month-old baby Archie.

Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson have returned home to the United States after testing positive for COVID-19, the novel coronavirus, in Australia.

The “Cast Away” actor took to his Twitter account to announce the good news after he and Wilson spent more than two weeks in Queensland self-isolating.

“Hey, Folks…We’re home now and, like the rest of America, we carry on with sheltering in place and social distancing. Many, many thanks to everyone in Australia who looked after us. Their care and guidance made possible our return to the USA. And many thanks to all of you who reached out with well wishes. Rita and I so appreciate it. Hanx,” the actor tweeted.

Hanks and Wilson, both 63, kept their fans updated throughout their quarantine process since first revealing their positive diagnosis on March 11.

“Hello, folks. Rita and I are down here in Australia. We felt a bit tired, like we had colds, and some body aches. Rita had some chills that came and went. Slight fevers too. To play things right, as is needed in the world right now, we were tested for the Coronavirus, and were found to be positive,” the 63-year-old actor first revealed in a statement on Twitter.

He continued, “Well, now. What to do next?  The Medical Officials have protocols that must be followed. We Hanks’ will be tested, observed, and isolated for as long as public health and safety requires. Not much more to it than a one-day-at-a-time approach, no? We’ll keep the world posted and updated. Take care of yourselves!”

The couple reportedly stayed in a hospital in Queensland for five days before being released. Hanks was in Australia filming an untitled Elvis Presley biopic directed by Baz Luhrmann when he and Wilson learned they contracted the coronavirus.

The film has since halted production.

One week following the couple’s diagnosis, Hanks took to his social media to update fans on their symptoms.

“Hey folks. Good News: One week after testing Positive, in self-isolation, the symptoms are much the same. No fever but the blahs,” Hanks revealed. “Folding the laundry and doing the dishes leads to a nap on the couch.”

Hanks then told fans that Wilson had beat him in six straight hands of gin rummy.

“But I have learned not to spread my Vegemite so thick,” he said referencing fans’ reactions to a previous post showing his generous helping of Vegemite on toast.

“I traveled here with a typewriter, one I used to love. We are all in this together. Flatten the curve,” Hanks concluded the post, which showed the typewriter he referenced.

The couple’s son, Chet Hanks, also kept fans updated through the process, taking to his social media after the Hollywood stars left the hospital to assure fans they were “feeling a lot better.”

Wilson turned to music during her time in isolation, prompting the creation of a playlist she shared on Spotify that she named “Quarantunes” following a survey she conducted with fans on her Instagram account.

Other celebrities who have since confirmed they tested positive for COVID-19 include Idris Elba, Debi Mazar and Daniel Dae Kim, among others.

“Your makeup is terrible and horrifying” – Nigerians blast Tacha over excessive makeup in new video

Big Brother Naija reality TV star and Instagram sensation, Tacha has faced heavy backlash – which she’s become accustomed to – after she shared a video on her Instagram page recently.

The Instagram sensation took to her account to call out president Buhari for addressing Nigerians only on his social media platform, Twitter.

She also talked about the proposed lock down over the coronavirus disease slowly ravaging Nigeria

She’s of the opinion that the total lock down won’t make sense as Nigerians will find it difficult to feed themselves.

Some fans however were more concerned with her makeup instead of the message she was passing across as they deemed it excessive and horrifying.

Katie Jerkovich Entertainment Reporter

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have reportedly left their home on Vancouver Island in Canada and moved to Los Angeles.

Reports about the soon-to-be former royals fleeing Canada for the United States before the northern borders close due to the coronavirus started surfacing on Thursday. By Friday, People magazine said a source confirmed to them that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have indeed moved to southern California. The former “Suits” actress and her husband had reportedly been making plans to spend some time in LA, a source previously shared with the magazine.

“Harry is looking straight ahead at his future with his family,” another source shared. “They will be spending time in California…He’s not looking back.”

It all comes after the duke and duchess announced back in January their plans to step away from their senior royal duties and live “financially independent.”

In February, a friend shared with the outlet that now the life of the royals consists of things like hikes in the woods near their $14 million Vancouver Island mansion off the Pacific Coast where they wer raising their nine-month-old son, Archie.

“They both love to be outside and have been loving it there,” explained a friend, adding that the couple is enjoying doing simple things like yoga and walks with their family dogs.

“They are enjoying living a quiet life,” an insider shared with the outlet. “They go for long walks, they do yoga, and Meghan cooks. They are real homebodies who love to chill out with Archie and the dogs.”

It all comes after Queen Elizabeth II issued a statement in January releasing Harry and Meghan of their duties, stating that they are “no longer working members of the Royal Family.” The end of their senior roles becomes official March 31.
